Kerala state being a part of South India and its greeny nature attracts tourists from around the world for long time. This history goes up to some 500 years. The reason behind Columbus starting his journey was really Kerala, the " spice land".
     The landscape in Kerala is coastal in nature. But basically the land can be divided into 3 types called
Hill areas throughout the western ghats.
The plane land which is highly populated.
The coastal land.
All the 3 are scenic landscapes  but only few are well-known in the tourism industry. More than this already known places there are so many attractions which are not exposed yet. There are 14 districts in Kerala and each district have many tourist attractions. So if one would like to visit all the attractions will surely take more than one month of time to have a look out at these places. But you can just cover major areas within 15 days if planned well.



Transportation in Kerala is easy with a lot of options. The best and cheap option to cover long distance is by train only. The bus service is also good and cheap for long distance and there are lots of public transportation facilities in this point. Owned by both government and private operators the accessibility to different destinations become easy by the buses. But the travel around the tourist destination is easy by private taxi service only.

      In city area you can opt for online taxi which is cheap, but you can not find out this everywhere. At that moment hiring a taxi will save your transportation charges.

Exotic Kerala destinations 3D/2N for Rs. 15000

This is a 3 day trip to attractions in Kerala which includes hill stations, waterfall, trekking in forest, adventures.
The charge is Rs.15000 for 2 members or 2 member family with 2 children. Trip starts from Thrissur. 
We will provide
A/C car with driver to the mentioned locations including parking charges .
Budget a/c double bed accommodation for 2 nights.
Breakfast in Kerala style ( puttu, appam, idli, dosa, any with veg combination)
All other charges like entry fees in dam, park, horse riding, trekking are to be paid by customer itself.
NB : Kerala forest department instructions are ultimate and everyone is abide to follow this.

Day 1 Athirappilly :-

This is the largest waterfall in Kerala. The route to this destination is through forest area and the fresh breeze gives you a cool day. There is a small park at Ezhattumugham which is on the way. This is a natural village and tourists are allowed to take bath in the river. There is a hanging bridge, tourist information center, local foodies are all attractive to everyone. The beauty of the Chalakudy River is best scene here. There are so many hot spots in the surrounding. From there the journey leads to Athirappilly waterfall area. This is a stunning beauty of the nature. You can view the beauty from the top and the bottom of the hill. This is a famous place for many Hindi and Tamil films. The night you are staying here.

Day 2. Malakkappara :-

Vazhachal waterfall :-


This is another waterfall next to Athirappilly. There is a small park situated next to it.

Peringalkuthu hydel park:-


This is a dam site and a hydel park is there nearby. It is a beautiful place. Next to it is Peringalkuthu reservoir view point. Then comes sholayar view point and charpa view points. Next is Malakkappara.




This is all about a hill station which  nourished the tourism in this land unknown to most people. The curved hairpins, green forests, tea estates, flora and fauna, cool climate, scenic riverside, barely filled tourists makes it a right destination for one who wants one's leisure time valuable.
On the way to Malakkappara the road through forest is scenic and there are chances for meeting wild animals. It is not recommended to stop and get down so.
Afternoon you are moving to a adventurous place at Peechi wildlife sanctuary site. Second day you are staying there nearby.

Day 3 Stallion valley :-

This is a place for horse ride and off road trekking. Really a great experience. The  charge has to be paid by party.

Central Kerala travel gems at 1000 USD for 2 member 10D/11N


The trip starts from Thrissur town for 10 days. You should be available in Thrissur town on morning 8 AM . (Thrissur is located 70 km away from Cochin and almost 50 km from nearest international Airport. Transport facilities are available both public and private transportation services). This includes Thrissur city tour, cultural tours,different foodies, river cruises, beaches, backwater tours, adventure events, stay in the hill stations and forest trekking. You will be provided with an a/c car with a driver to cover all the locations with your own time .
Trip is meant for 2 members and so the charge also. If 4 members are to be joined, then charges will vary slightly for accommodation and houseboat rentals.
We will arrange the following within the cost,
Accommodation in budget hotels for all 11 nights (double bed room with a/c),
Traditional Kerala Breakfast  (idli, Dosa, puttu or appam with its veg combination or egg curry and tea)
3 hours houseboat cruise through Enamakkal river.
Parking charge /toll and petrol charges.
Transfer to each place.
Daily trip starts from 9 AM and end by 7 PM.
You can cover all the below mentioned places in the specified time if travel in a planned manner.
Any local festival if found in the selected places can be covered.
All entry charges that is, charges at museum,park, dam entry charge, gallery or any other activities, lunch, dinner, trekking charges are to be paid by the travelers. (these are nominal and is not more)
Entry charge is almost Rs. 50/ head or lesser in most of the places.
Trekking charge can be arranged within Rs. 6000 at Nelliyampathy.
Lunch and dinner charge will be Rs. 100/ head in normal.
The tour is priced at 20 US $ per head for foreign nationals in Kerala kalamandalam.
Charge for horse riding at stallions Valley guest house will depend upon the service.


Sakthan Thampuran Palace:-


This is an old palace made into a museum. One can get lots of information about royal family and Kerala history.

Thrissur museum :-
One can see the ancient culture in the form of metal carvings, ancient jewelry and metal sculptures.

Paremakkav and Thiruvampady temples :-



Both are Hindu temples in the heart of Thrissur city. Temple arts can see there. The famous festival “ Thrissur pooram “ is celebrated here in the month of April or May.

Lourdes cathedral and New Cathedral :-


Both of them are catholic cathedrals in Thrissur. Thrissur having a large number of ancient Christians (known as St. Thomas Syrian Christians) church art and their festivals are famous and totally different from other part of Kerala. “ Bourne Natale “ one of the largest Christmas celebration in the world is celebrated here with more than 10000 of Christmas Pappas. There is a Bible tower behind New church.

Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Museum, Thrissur :-


Situated in Thaikkattussery near Ollur in Thrissur. Showcasing a dioramic representation of the traditional growth that Ayurveda has witnessed over the years and the work that has been put in by the Acharyas towards the evolution of science over the years, the museum is a perfect place for all the people who have interest in this field of study. The museum provides a captivating journey to the tourists beginning from the Vedic era during which Ayurveda was discovered through the development eras of Samhita and Samgraha and then finally to the contemporary period with the help of scriptures, pictures, and sculptures.

Ollur church :-

The St. Antony's Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church is located at Ollur, Thrissur. The church belongs to Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. According to rough figures there are around 4,000 Christian families in the parish. Because of the huge presence of Christians Ollur has been called as Chinna Roma (Small Rome). Church is famous for the old church arts.

Enamakkal lake :-

Enamakkal is a famous backwater tourist destination. Houseboats are available in the river. One can enjoy Kerala style food and fish curry and enjoy ride through boat. Walking through the paddy fields in the morning is a mind freshing experience. One can enjoy fishing also. Enamakkal church is an old one and is famous for its arts.

Snehatheeram beach :-

Snehatheeram Beach or Love Shore is beach in Thalikulam of Thrissur District in Kerala State of India. It lies on the coast of Arabian Sea and attracts domestic tourists in every season.

Chettuva mangrove forest :-


Chettuva Backwater is located in between Engandiyur Panchayat and Kadappuram Panchayat of Thrissur District in Kerala. The backwaters start at Enamakkal Lake and empties to Arabian Sea. The destination is blessed with mangroves, Chinese fishing nets, islands, migratory birds, estuary and a fort.

Palayur church:-

Palayoor is famous for its Christian church, St. Thomas Church which is founded by St. Thomas the Apostle in 52 AD. It was the first Christian Church in India. Some monuments are,
Boat Jetty (Bottukulam) where St Thomas landed at Palayoor.
Thaliyakulam -The pond where St Thomas baptized the local people.
The replica of Chinna Malai (of Mylapore – Madras) where St Thomas attained martyrdom in 72 AD.
The historical remnants of old Aryan Temple.

Guruvayur temple :-

Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Guruvayurappan (a four-armed affiliation of the Hindus god Vishnu).
There is a museum in the office Annex building at East nada. Many rare offerings by devotees to the Lord are exhibited here. The museum is kept open from 8.00 am to 8.00pm on all days except Tuesdays and other holydays.
Melpathur Auditorium is a spacious auditorium on the right side of the East Gopuram where temple arts like kathakali, Mohiniyattam will be performed daily evening.

Kerala murals art gallery, Guruvayoor :-

This is a outlet-gallery in Guruvayur. One can purchase it from the store and can visit there.

ChitraKala kendram :-

This is a training institute for mural arts. One can see different paintings. Located near guruvayoor temple.

Punnathur elephant fort:-


Punnathurkotta was once the palace of a local ruler, but the palace grounds are now used to house the elephants belonging to the Guruvayoor temple, and has been renamed Anakkotta (meaning "Elephant Fort"). There were 86 elephants housed there.

Kerala kalamandalam :-

This is the university of Kerala arts like kathakali, Mohiniyattam, koothu, etc.. Anyone can visit there.
The tour will begin at 0930 hours and end by 1300 hours on all working days.

Vazhani Dam, Garden :-


Vazhani Dam is a clay dam built across the Wadakkancherry river near Wadakkancherry in Thrissur district of Kerala. The water is used for irrigation and drinking purposes. The dam has a four-acre garden.

Madakkathara gardens :-

The place is famous for florist and gardens. Kerala agriculture and floriculture universities are nearby. So a lot of people are engaged with gardening and farming.
Vini, Mebel and morning star gardens are examples.

Peechi Dam and wildlife sanctuary :-

Peechi Dam is situated 22 km (14 mi) outside Thrissur city in Kerala, India. The dam was started as an irrigation project for the surrounding villages in Thrissur. Elephants may be seen on the bank of Peechi-Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1958 covering 125 square kilometres. There is a children's park and aquarium in peechi.

Pothundi Dam and gardens :-

Pothundi Dam is an irrigation dam near Pothundi village in the Palakkad district of Kerala state, India. There is a beautiful garden also.

Nelliyampathy hill station :-

Nelliyampathy is a hill station within the Nelliyampathy Forest Reserve, in the southwest Indian state of Kerala. The road to it, which goes through the dense forests of the Western Ghats, is known for its many hairpin turns. To the west is Kesavan Para, a vantage point with views of nearby tea plantations.
There are several view points like lower desk view point, upper desk view point, padagiri view, seetharkundu water falls and tea estates. Fresh tea can be purchased from poabson tea estates. The breeze from the tea estate is a great experience. This place is good for trekking and there are a lot of home stays and resorts available in budget level.
